SEAWORTHY: called to the deep
DUO Exhibit running from
OPENING July
Featuring the work of
Carla Scholtens & Lorenda Harder
Seaworthy journeys into the deep—where the vastness of the ocean meets the mystery of faith. Featuring ocean-themed works inspired by the rhythms, beauty, and power of the sea, this show explores spiritual metaphors of water: calling, trust, surrender, and the unknown. Sea creatures—like the drifting jellyfish, the steadfast sea turtle, and others—appear as quiet symbols of movement, grace, and endurance.
From biblical narratives of storms stilled and fishermen called, to the deep waters where soul and Spirit meet, Seaworthy invites viewers to consider what it means to be made ready—for the voyage of faith, for the currents we cannot control, and for the One who leads us through them.
