ABOUT THE EXHIBIT: "YES THIS FACE" explores how we imagine Jesus. We have no real description of his appearance, yet countless cultures have pictured him in their own way. No one knows what Jesus looked like—and everyone does.

These paintings place familiar images of Jesus into unexpected, contemporary settings. By shifting the context, the work invites viewers to see him with fresh eyes and consider what his presence might mean here and now.

This exhibit invites a reconsideration of Jesus outside traditional religious frames and within the realities of our contemporary world.
