our standards
Standards for evaluating art We hold a broad view of the arts (being free to use various methods and media) and a specific message. Simply put and to paraphrase Francis Schaeffer, to aim at making good art with the good message.
Our organization is an evangelical Christian inter-church group making connections where faith intersects with art. Our Vision Team members are volunteers and our group is self-supporting, accepting non-receipted donations to cover operating costs and honoraria.
All group participants agree to respect the vision and purpose of Faith Arts and claim Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, accepting the Bible as the inerrant Word of God.
Unity We avoid divisive topics such as political or denominational differences. Information, resource links, opinions or individual beliefs, etc. outside of the basics of the creeds by any of its members do not necessarily reflect those of faitharts.org as a whole.

Reading about the response of people in stories, plays, poems, helps us to respond more courageously and openly at our own moments of turning.
