-our mission & vision-
our mission
To nurture faith and encourage artistic excellence.
our vision
Seeing the growth & spread of biblical faith-arts connections in people's lives & in their circles of influence.
Whatever you might do, work from the soul, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that you will receive from the Lord the reward of the inheritance. You serve the Lord Christ!
Colossians 3:23-24
our key passage
-our faith & standards-
our faith in Jesus Christ is specifically evangelical in the tradition of the Reformation. See the nicene & apostles' creeds for more.
artistic standards We hold a broad view of the arts (being free to use various methods and media) and a specific message of expressing truth and beauty: Simply put and to paraphrase Francis Schaeffer, to aim at making "good art with a good message."
participation All participants must agree to respect the vision, values, and purpose of Faith Arts. The Vision Team, all leaders, and the majority of the community claim Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, accepting the Bible as the inerrant Word of God.
unity We avoid divisive topics such as political or denominational differences. Information, resource links, opinions or individual beliefs, etc. outside of the basics of the creeds by any of its members do not necessarily reflect those of faitharts.org as a whole.

“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
